Rap 'N Tap School of Dance was established in 1987 by award-winning dancer Carolyn Hanley-Tapley. Now in its second generation of success, Carolyn's daughter, Shantell Sabino, is carrying on Rap 'N Tap's dedication to excellence in dance education. Carolyn and Shantell have a genuine love for their students all while expecting and receiving the very best from each child.
From preschoolers to high schoolers, dancers can choose from a variety of classes, including ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, tumbling, lyrical, acro, ballroom, pointe, modern, contemporary and are welcome to try out for dance companies in order to participate in competitions and other special performances. Students are viewed as individuals, yet taught the importance of being a team. The annual dance recital at the end of the year is a spectacular event that showcases all the students talent and shouldn't be missed.
